Reporters Club in Madan : Nurul Haque Runu President, Saker Khan Secretary

A new executive committee of the Madan Reporters Club has been formed in Madan Upazila of Netrakona.
Nurul Haque Runu, Madan Upazila correspondent of Daily Manabzamin and The Country Today, was unanimously elected President, while Md. Saker Khan, Madan Upazila correspondent of Daily Dinkal, was elected General Secretary at a meeting held at the club's temporary office on Saturday.
The newly formed eight-member executive committee will serve a two-year term.
The other members of the committee are: Tofazzal Hossain, correspondent of Daily Jugantor, as Vice-President; Fayez Ahmed Hridoy, regional correspondent of Kaler Kantho, as Joint General Secretary; Nizam Uddin Talukder, Upazila correspondent of Amar Desh, as Organizing Secretary; Ali Azgar Poni, Upazila correspondent of Daily Khola Kagoj, as Assistant Organizing Secretary; Noor Mohammad Jarip, Upazila correspondent of Protidiner Sangbad, as Finance Secretary; and Zakir Ahmed Chowdhury, Upazila correspondent of Daily Sangram, as Executive Member.
The committee members expressed their commitment to promoting professional journalism, strengthening unity among local journalists, and working for the welfare of the media community in Madan.
