
Representative Conference of the CHT Equal Rights Movement held

The Representative Conference 2025 of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Equal Rights Movement, Rangamati District Branch was held on Saturday.
The Chittagong Hill Tracts Equal Rights Movement Rangamati District Committee is going to be reorganized to ensure equal rights for all communities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
The Representative Conference of the Equal Rights Movement organized on this occasion was held on Saturday at 10:30 am at the Rangamati Chamber of Commerce Building. Md. Jahangir Kamal, convener of the Representative Conference Preparation Committee, presided over the representative conference.
Former MP and former successful chairman of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board, Wadud Bhuiyan, spoke virtually as the chief guest at the event.
The speakers at the conference said that the people living in the Chittagong Hill Tracts are deprived of their rights. We will all fight together to realize the rights of the people of this region. We must all work together to realize these rights, forgetting our internal divisions.
At this time, the names of the 21-member convening committee members were announced at the representative conference of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Equal Rights Movement.
Convener Md. Kamal Uddin, Joint Convener Advocate Afsar Ali, Joint Convener Chhagir Ahmed, Member Secretary Rakib Hossain, Member Nurul Absar, Member Zahid Mustafa and other members were present at the representative conference.
