Role of journalists important in disseminating accurate info, raising public awareness : GMP Commissioner

Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) Commissioner Israel Hawlader said that the role of journalists is very important in disseminating accurate information and increasing public awareness. He called on journalists to provide quality services to the people while maintaining professionalism, unity and humanity.
He said these at an Eid reunion meeting with local journalists at the GMP office meeting room on Thursday at 11 am.
The meeting was an open discussion on the law and order situation in the city, crime prevention, investigation activities and the limitations of the police. Police Commissioner Israel Hawlader said that this reunion will further strengthen mutual friendship, harmony and brotherhood. He sought the cooperation of journalists in police activities by maintaining responsibility in publishing news on crime.
