Stating that manpower is being recruited into the Ministry of Land through a completely transparent and corruption-free process, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Land ASM Saleh Ahmed has affirmed that the government is committed to making the land management system 100 percent free of corruption and harassment.

To achieve this, he noted that the government is placing strong emphasis on digital and automated service systems instead of traditional methods.

He made these remarks while serving as the chief guest at the concluding ceremony of the orientation course for newly appointed officers, held at the conference room of the Department of Land Records and Surveys (DLRS) on Thursday.

Congratulating the newly appointed officers, the Senior Secretary said, "The entire recruitment process for obtaining these jobs was completed with absolute transparency, allowing young talents to get the opportunity to serve the country based on their qualifications.

Highlighting various complexities and reform aspects of land services, ASM Saleh Ahmed stated that land management is a highly intricate field, noting that land-related laws and ownership structures have undergone numerous changes over time.

He highlighted the launch of 24/7 call center services—including the numbers +8809612316122 (for expatriates) and 16122—as well as the initiative to establish "Land Service Support Centers" (LSFC) at the district level.

Speaking as a special guest at the event, Land Reform Board Chairman Mohang Shawkat Rashid Chowdhury said, "Although there were various apprehensions regarding recruitment previously, conducting selections based entirely on merit and transparency has dispelled all doubts.

Chaired by Md. Abul Hasanat Humayun Kabir, Director General of the Department of Land Records and Surveys, the event was attended by Land Appeal Board Chairman Md. Abdullah-Al-Baki, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Land Saima Yunus, and other senior officials.
