Tk 183,500 distributesd from Majedur Rahman MP's discretionary fund in Sundarganj

In Sundarganj, Gaibandha, 183,500 taka has been distributed from the discretionary fund of MP Prof Md. Majedur Rahman. This money was distributed among 116 helpless, distressed and sick people of the upazila.
The money from the discretionary fund was distributed at the upazila conference room on Wednesday afternoon, organized by the upazila administration.
The chief guest, Gaibandha-1 (Sundarganj) Constituency MP and Gaibandha District Jamaat-e-Islami Nayeb-e-Ameer Prof Md. Majedur Rahman, handed over the assistance to the beneficiaries. Sundarganj UNO Iffat Jahan Tuli was present as the special guest.
Present at the event were Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Md. Shahidul Islam Sarkar Manju, MP's personal assistant Sarkar Hashemuzzaman, Upazila Professional Department President SM Sajjad Hossain Amush, Dahaband Union Jamaat Ameer Md. Osman Gani, Bamondanga Union Jamaat Ameer Hafez Maulana Md. Shafiqul Islam, upazila administration officials, local political leaders and dignitaries.
Member of Parliament Prof Md. Majedur Rahman said, 'The benefits of development will be meaningful only when the helpless, distressed and sick people of the society also become its partners. It is our social and moral responsibility to stand by people in their times of need. We are working with the goal that no person in my constituency should fall victim to poverty.
