Two road works inspected in Shibganj

The ongoing HBB work on two separate roads in Atmul and Deuli unions of Shibganj upazila under the implementation of the Disaster Management Department and the Ministry of Relief was visited on Monday.
Bogura District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Golam Kibria and ADP Officer Zakir Hossain of the Disaster Management Department inspected the work.
Upazila Project Officer (PIO) Zahirul Islam said, the second phase of the Herring Bone Bond (HBB) project is underway in Atmul and Deuli unions of the upazila in the financial year 2024-2025 to make rural earthen roads sustainable. The cost of the work for 1 kilometer of the road has been estimated at Tk 78 lakh. He said that 80 percent of the work has already been completed
