Altamash Kabir elected Dhaka Club President

Editor and Publisher of Dainik Sangbad Altamash Kabir has been elected President of Dhaka Club Limited for the 2026–2027 tenure.
In the board of directors election held on Saturday, Altamash Kabir secured victory by receiving 976 votes, defeating the incumbent president Shamim Hossain, who polled 392 votes.
According to a press release issued by the club, ten directors were also elected alongside the president through votes cast by life and permanent members of Dhaka Club.
The newly elected directors are Tareq Ahmed Adel, Osama Taseer, Tanveer Aziz Khan, Professor Jahangir Chowdhury, S. M. Hafiz Al Asad, Nazma Akhter, Md. Aminul Huq, Ambareen Islam, Abdur Rahman, and Rabbani Jabbar.
