The owner, Mst. Taslima Akhtar (40), a resident of Bogura Sadar Upazila, lost her bag around 5:30 PM due to inadvertence while visiting the hospital's outpatient department.
Anwar Hossain, an Ansar member posted at the main entrance of the hospital, noticed the unattended vanity bag on the road and immediately took it into safe custody. Upon inspecting the contents, he discovered two gold bangles alongside personal documents containing a contact telephone number.
Anwar subsequently contacted the telephone number provided in the documents to reach Taslima. Following proper verification, the bag along with the gold bangles and documents was formally handed over to her in the presence of hospital authorities.
Expressing deep relief and gratitude, Taslima commended the Ansar member for his honesty and devotion to duty.
