Horrific fire at KDC Colony : Barishal: BNP's Afroza Khanam Nasrin stands by victims, provides financial assistance

A terrible fire broke out in KDC Colony, Ward No. 10, Barishal city. The houses of several helpless and distressed families were completely burnt to ashes in this accident and extensive damage was caused. The families, who became destitute after the fire, are currently living inhumane conditions under the open sky.
Upon receiving the news of the fire, Barisal Metro BNP Senior Joint Convener Afroza Khanam Nasrin immediately came to the aid of the affected people.
She visited the affected KDC Colony area on site and spoke to the affected families and inquired about their overall situation. Expressing deep sympathy for the helpless families in this difficult time, he provided cash assistance to them on his personal initiative and on behalf of the party.
She said, "It is our moral responsibility to stand by the helpless and endangered people. We will continue to provide all kinds of cooperation to bring the families left destitute in the fire back to normal life and to build new houses."
Local residents, including leaders and activists of local BNP and its affiliates, were present at the time.
