Barishal Dist administration distributes CI sheets, cheques among 64 families affected by natural disasters

During the monsoon season, seasonal cyclones hit various districts of Bangladesh. As a result of the impact, many semi-pucca and pucca houses along with business establishments are damaged. Houses of disabled persons and families are also damaged due to natural disasters and cyclones.
On Monday at 10:00 am, the Barishal District Administration organized a program at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office to distribute corrugated iron sheets and cheques among those affected by natural disasters.
Similarly, among 64 affected families, 2 bundles of corrugated iron sheets each, a total of 128 bundles, and Tk 6,000 each for house construction, totaling Tk 3 lakh 84 thousand, were distributed by Barisal Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Delwar Hossain.
At the event were present Barishal Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Lusicanto Hajong, Barisal District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Ranjit Kumar Sarker, among others.
