Stating that the dictators have not dared to stand before the people, the dictators have fled the country, Social Welfare and Women and Child Affairs Minister Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain said that the troublemakers will not be spared under any circumstances. If anyone thinks that the people of the country are silent, they do not understand the people. Remember that the people of the country know that there was no vote in 2014, they elected MPs in the night vote in 2018 and they did the same in 2024. This time the people have learned to vote, they have learned to exercise their rights through the election on February 12, 2026.
He made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a one-time check distribution ceremony organized by the Ministry of Social Welfare among the disabled/poor, meritorious students of Nawabganj Upazila, the helpless, the sick, the homeless, and patients suffering from seven incurable diseases in Nawabganj Upazila Parishad Auditorium on Thursday at the Upazila Administration and Upazila Social Service Office.
The event was presided over by Nawabganj UNO Bidhan Kanti Halder, and the chief guest Dr. Zahid said, "We must remember that we must face the law for every injustice. No one should think that we or you are above the law. Seeing our quiet and peaceful stance, do not try to think that the people of Dinajpur-6 or the people of Bangladesh have forgotten your past actions.
