Dr Shafiqur Rahman in Mirsarai rally : People will show red card if public demands are not met

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has called for the immediate acceptance of the people's demands. He said, "If the people's demands are not accepted, the people will show the red card."
He said these things while addressing a road meeting organized as part of the long march program of the 11-party alliance in Mirsarai, Chittagong at 5 pm on Saturday (September 5).
The event was chaired by Mirsarai Jamaat Ameer Nurul Kabir and moderated by Joint Secretary Fazlur Rahman, under the leadership of the 11-party alliance led by Islami.
Speakers at the rally urged the government to quickly implement their six-point demands. The demands are: implementing the referendum verdict, bringing to justice the July massacre, resolving the electricity, oil, gas and fertilizer crises, preventing price increases in essential commodities, improving the law and order situation, and ending narrow party affiliation.
Khilafat Majlis Ameer Mao. Mamunul Haque, LDP Chairman Colonel Oli Ahmed, Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary Mia Golam Parwar, NCP Central Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain, Nasir Uddin Patwari, Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, AB Party Professor Mujibur Rahman, JAGPA Secretary Rashed Pradhan and others also spoke at the rally.
The speakers said that to resolve the ongoing crisis in the country, urgent and effective steps must be taken, giving importance to the demands and expectations of the people.
