Fascist govt ran country by force, so they had no accountability to people : Khairul Kabir Khokon

BNP Joint Secretary General and MP from Narsingdi-1 Sadar constituency Khairul Kabir Khokon said, "During the previous fascist government, the common people were oppressed and persecuted.
They were without votes, they voted day and night, I and others were dummies, they ran the country by force without any competition. Therefore, they had no responsibility to the people, there was no accountability. But the current government has promised the people before the election, it has said in the manifesto that if we are elected, then we will work for the welfare of the people's suffering and misery, the security of the world, and so that they can live in peace. All these promises are being implemented one by one."
He made these remarks at a cash distribution ceremony from the MP's discretionary fund at the Narsingdi district BNP office on Friday afternoon.
Narsingdi city BNP president AKM Golam Kabir Kamal, general secretary Faruk Uddin Bhuiyan, Iqbal Hossain, Aminul Haque Bachchu and other BNP leaders and activists were present at the time.
During the event, 31 beneficiaries from Narsingdi district distributed cash.
