Minister Dr. Zahid Hossain appointed President of DMCH

Social Welfare and Women and Child Affairs Minister Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain MP has been appointed as the president of the Dinajpur Medical College Hospital (DIMCH) Management Committee and Syed Jahangir Alam MP has been given the responsibility of vice-president.
Dinajpur Medical College Hospital Principal Professor Dr. Sheikh Sadeq Ali confirmed this information on Wednesday night.
He said he received a letter in this regard from the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
The letter mentioned that on June 15, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Health Services Division, issued a notification regarding the appointment of the president and vice-president of the Dinajpur Medical College Hospital Management Committee. In a notification signed by Kazi Sharif Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Secretary of the Government Health Management-1 Branch, they have been given the responsibility of president and vice-president as per the instructions of the Dinajpur Medical College Hospital Management Committee.
Dinajpur Medical College Hospital, one of the largest medical service institutions in the northern region, provides medical services to a large number of patients every day. The hospital management committee will play a very important role in the overall management of the hospital, improving the quality of services, expanding infrastructure, adding modern medical equipment and ensuring a patient-friendly environment, said the concerned people.
All concerned are expecting that the management committee, led by Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain MP and Syed Jahangir Alam MP, will play an effective role in further accelerating the ongoing development activities of the hospital. The locals are especially hoping for effective steps to be taken to resolve the manpower crisis, increase the use of modern medical technology, improve the quality of medical services and reduce the suffering of patients.
