Ad Mujibur Rahman Sarwar is a reliable name of the hopes and aspirations of the people of Barishal. He has been elected as a member of the National Parliament 5 times by direct vote of the people while serving as the guardian of the Barisal BNP for more than 45 years. He was elected as the first city mayor of Barishal. He has served as the whip of the National Parliament.
