SSC result : All fail in same subject in a school in Chuadanga

Asim Sayeed, Jibannagar (Chuadanga)

63 candidates who participated in the vocational section of the SSC in 2025 from Hasadah Multipurpose Secondary School in Jibannagar upazila of Chuadanga failed due to the non-addition of the practical exam marks.

Students believe that such an incident occurred due to the negligence of the school authorities. And guardians have expressed anger at such a disaster.

It is known that 63 students of Hasadah School participated in the SSC examination from the vocational section in 2025. The results of the SSC examination published on Thursday showed that all of them failed in the practical examination in the school's TED instruction subject.

The aggrieved students formed a human chain in front of the office of the Jibannagar Upazila Executive Officer on Friday morning to solve the problem. They demanded a fair investigation into the matter.

A victim student named Ark said, "I got good marks in all subjects, but still everything is over." I don't know whose fault it is. I don't know why the practical exam failed despite giving a good exam - this should be investigated and resolved.'

Another student named Mim said, 'The marks for the practical exam are given by the teachers in charge of the exam center. Everyone failed because the marks were not added to the mark sheet. The teachers of the school are responsible for why this happened. If they had monitored well, this would not have happened.'

Another student named Sifat said, we all submitted our practical books to the school on time. This is entirely the responsibility of the teachers. Why should we take responsibility for their failure? This needs to be investigated.

Vocational department teacher Tariqul Islam said, we have sent the marks of the students from here to the Technical Education Board on time. But the board says they did not get the marks, they are talking about a technical error.

He also said, the board has told the students whose results were unsuccessful to go to the board. Since it was not online, they have to take them manually. Hopefully, it will be resolved next Sunday.

The school's headmaster, Abul Kashem, said, "This incident happened due to a technical glitch. Because of this, 63 of my students are facing problems. We have spoken to the Dhaka Technical Education Board about this. The problem will be resolved soon."
