Accusing a political group of unjust and malicious propaganda against BNP and of orchestrating incidents to deliberately shift blame onto BNP, its affiliates, and activists, the Noakhali District BNP stated that the party has no association with arbitration business, land grabbers, extortionists, teenage gangs, or looters. The party leaders declared a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, extortion, land grabbing, and looting in the district.
This declaration was made by the district BNP at a views exchange meeting with journalists organized by the Noakhali District BNP in the hall room of the Noakhali District Bar Association on Sunday afternoon.
The meeting was presided over by District BNP Convener Mahbub Alamgir Alo, and the written statement was read out by District BNP Member Secretary Harunur Rashid Azad.
Also present at the event were former District BNP President Haidar BSc, District BNP Senior Joint Convener Advocate ABM Zakaria, District Lawyers Forum General Secretary Rabiul Hasan Palash, along with other party leaders and activists.
