World Red Cross Day celebrated with various events in Kurigram

World Red Cross Day was celebrated in Kurigram with the theme "On the Side of Humanity".
A rally started from the Red Crescent office at Dada Mor in Kurigram and circled various places in the city.
Later, a discussion meeting and blood donation program were held at the Red Crescent Hall.
The chief guests were Prof Kazi Shafiqur Rahman, Principal of Kurigram Government Women's College, Professor Nurul Amin Khan of Kurigram Government College, Assistant Teacher Narayan Chandra of Kurigram Government Girls' High School, Unit Level Officer ABM Bayezid of Kurigram Red Crescent, other officials, students and volunteers from various educational institutions.
Chief guest Kazi Shafiqur Rahman said that the Red Crescent has been by the side of humanity at various times in the past, will continue to be so in the future, and will make this world a habitable place.
At the time, ABM Bayezid, Unit Level Officer of the Red Crescent, said that the theme of World Red Crescent Day is the aspect of humanity and called on all concerned to work together.
