3-day national sports competition ends in Bauphal

A three-day-long secondary level national sports competition and award distribution ceremony concluded in a festive atmosphere in Bauphal, Patuakhali.
The competition, which began on September 23, concluded on Thursday afternoon.
UNO Aminul Islam handed over the prizes to the winners.
Students from around 60 schools and madrasas in the upazila participated in the 9 events of the competition. The competition field was lively with the students participating extensively in various sports including football, kabaddi, swimming, and chess.
Nazirpur Chhota Dalim Secondary School was the champion in the boys' football, while Baufal Model Government Secondary School was the runner-up. On the other hand, Madhabpur NK Secondary School won the championship title in the girls' football. Baufal Model Government Secondary School was the champion in the kabaddi competition, while Char Algin Secondary School was the runner-up.
UNO Aminul Islam was the chief guest at the award ceremony. Baufal Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Akhtaruzzaman Sarkar was present as the special guest. Upazila Academic Supervisor Mohammad Nurunnabi presided over the program.
At that time, a large number of dignitaries including heads of various educational institutions in the upazila, competition management officials, teachers and students were present.
