Ansar-VDP members build new employment prospects thru' skill development in Masonry Rraining

The Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) continues its technical training programs aimed at expanding skill development, employment creation, and self-reliance among its members.
As part of these ongoing efforts, a 60-day Masonry Training Course is currently underway at the Ansar-VDP Academy as well as technical training centers in Naogaon, Sirajganj, and Noakhali districts.
The program equips members with practical, hands-on construction skills to open up domestic and international employment opportunities.
As part of the monitoring efforts, Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam, Director and Range Commander (Rajshahi Range) of the Bangladesh Ansar and VDP, inspected the practical training activities at the Naogaon Ansar-VDP Technical Training Center at 2:00 pm on Saturday. During his visit, he observed the practical work of trainees and issued guidelines regarding construction quality, precision, workplace safety, and professional responsibility.
Given the growing demand for skilled masons in both Bangladesh's expanding construction sector and the international labor market, trained members will be positioned to secure employment with construction and contracting firms. Additionally, the skills enable trainees to initiate self-employment projects, contributing to family financial stability.
An organization named 'Kora' provides technical guidance and instruction for the Ansar-VDP masonry training program, while the Dubai-based firm Transguard is involved in evaluating training quality. Technical support from these entities emphasizes practical skills and professional standards.
Official sources noted that accessing international job markets requires meeting employer requirements, skill certification, language proficiency, and completing legal migration procedures, for which trainees are being prepared.
Following the inspection of the masonry training, Rajshahi Range Commander Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam held an interactive session with trainees of the Japanese Language N4 Course. Drawing on his experience of living in Japan, he provided guidance on language acquisition, the Japanese work environment, and professional preparation to encourage trainees pursuing international career opportunities.
