BNP's front organizations held protest march against MP Bilkis Islam, accused her for nepotism.

Leaders and activists of the Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, Krishak Dal and Chhatra Dal have staged a protest march against reserved female MP Bilkis Islam Swapna in Kishoreganj, Nilphamari, alleging family card enumeration and nepotism in various government offices.
The protest procession started from the Kishoreganj Upazila BNP office on Friday (August 21) afternoon.
The procession passed through Kishoreganj Stadium, Upazila Health Complex, Kishoreganj Bazar and ended at Jharna intersection. Later, a short rally was held there.
The leaders and activists from the procession raised various slogans including,
"The mismanagement of female MPs must be stopped," "We do not accept the family system of female MPs, we do not accept it," "We do not accept irregularities in family cards, we do not accept it," "We do not accept irregularities in the recruitment examination, we do not accept it," "We demand answers to irregularities in the recruitment process," and "Fake recruitment must be canceled immediately."
Upazila Jubo Dal Senior Vice President Belayet Hossain Bilu, Vice President Alamgir Hossain, Upazila Swechchhasebak Dal Convener Shah Alam Babu, Krishak Dal General Secretary Morshedul Islam, Chhatra Dal General Secretary Jobayed Ibne Rubel and BNP leaders and activists from various unions and their affiliates were present in the protest procession. At the gathering, Jubo Dal Vice President Alamgir Hossain said that female MPs have started mismanagement in all departments. Together with the sacrificed workers, we will stand shoulder to shoulder against this family system and nepotism and against the rehabilitation of fascists, InshaAllah.
The speakers complained that necessary action should be taken after conducting a proper investigation into allegations of irregularities and nepotism in various government activities and recruitment processes.
The rally announced a large-scale human chain program at the Kishoreganj Upazila Parishad premises on Sunday noon.
However, when contacted on the mobile phone of reserved female MP Bilkis Islam regarding these allegations, it was not possible to take a statement as her mobile phone was not receiving calls.
