There is no alternative to evaluating talented people to create honest, skilled, ideal and patriotic citizens, said Nurul Islam Saddam, Central Secretary of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir.
He made this remark while addressing the chief guest at a reception for 309 SSC, Dakhil and equivalent exam GPA-5 students in Mirsarai, Chittagong on Wednesday at 11 am.
At this time, he also said, a nation that cannot value talented people can never move forward. Talented people are the source of inspiration for the nation. China, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, even after our country became independent, were economically weaker than Bangladesh. Today, they have developed in just 10 to 20 years.
The reception was presided over by the President of Chittagong North District Chhatra Shibir, Shawkat Ali, and moderated by Secretary Main Uddin Raihan. Special guests who spoke at the reception were Abdul Mohaimen, Social Service Secretary of Central Chhatra Shibir, Advocate Saifur Rahman, Chittagong-1 Jamaat-e-Islami nominated MP candidate, Mirsarai Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Nurul Kabir, former Ameer Nurul Karim, Mirsarai Upazila Chhatra Shibir President Shakib Hossain, and many others.
At the end of the program, the guests exchanged greetings by presenting the students with welcome crests and gifts.
