State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yasser Khan Chowdhury on Wednesday issued a sharp warning against any attempts to destabilize the country through anarchy or terror, challenging exiled opposition leaders to return immediately and face justice.

"If you have the courage, return to the country right now—not in December," the State Minister said while addressing a rally as the chief guest at Kalibari More in Kishoreganj town on Wednesday afternoon. "You rendered our mothers and sisters helpless. Return now and face the gallows."

The rally was organized by the Kishoreganj District BNP following a protest procession against alleged planned violence by the banned Awami League.

The State Minister asserted that democratic rights and voting access were restored under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, cautioning that fleeing autocrats plotting abroad would not succeed in undermining the nation's progress.

Referring to recent bus arson incidents, Chowdhury warned against attempting to intimidate the public. He stated that the people and BNP activists who ousted the previous regime would actively resist any fresh attempts to create instability.

"The public will ensure justice through legal channels," he added. "We do not want to wait until December for trial proceedings; come and face justice immediately."

Earlier in the day, a protest march commenced in front of the District BNP office in the Rothkhola area, traversing major town thoroughfares before terminating at Kalibari More.

The rally was also addressed by Kishoreganj-1 MP and District BNP General Secretary Md. Mazharul Islam, alongside Kishoreganj-2 MP Md. Jalal Uddin. Leaders and activists from various BNP units and associate organizations attended the event.
