A coordination meeting was held on the occasion of typhoid vaccination campaign 2025 at the upazila level in Boalkhali, Chattogram.
The coordination meeting was held on the occasion of typhoid vaccination camp 2025 at the upazila level at the health complex conference room on Thursday noon.
Boalkhali Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Jafrin Jahed Jiti presided over the function, and Boalkhali Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Municipal Administrator Kaniz Fatema was present as the chief guest.
Special guests were Boalkhali Police Station OC.Mohammad Lutfur Rahman, Boalkhali Press Club President Mohammad Sirajul Islam, Boalkhali Upazila Secondary Education Officer Salma Islam, Upazila Primary Education Officer Harunur Rashid, Boalkhali Upazila Project Officer Sujan Kanti Das, Boalkhali Animal Resources Officer Rumon Talukder, Upazila Youth Development Officer Mohammad Mamun, Upazila Women Affairs Officer Sonia Sofi, Rural Development Officer Zahirul Islam, Boalkhali Press Club General Secretary Yasin Chowdhury, Boalkhali Press Club member Biplab Jaladas, Boalkhali Press Club member Sabuj Aranya, Boalkhali Press Club member SM Shahed Hossain Choton and Boalkhali Press Club member Monir Chowdhury Rana.
In his speech as the chief guest, Boalkhali Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Municipal Administrator Kaniz Fatema said that vaccination is being provided for the safety of children, which will play an important role in health protection.
Boalkhali Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Jafrin Jahed Jiti said that the TCV campaign target is 72,643 people in 176 educational institutions of Boalkhali Upazila and 20,256 people at the 211 community level. The campaign in educational institutions will run from October 12 to October 30. At the community level from November 1 to November 13. The Typhoid Vaccination Campaign 2025 will be inaugurated at Bengura Khan Bahadur Khalilur Rahman (KBKR) Girls' High School on October 12. He said that 4,484 people will be vaccinated against typhoid on the first day.
