
Call for democracy, change: BNP’s harmony rally held in Tungipara

Under the leadership of SM Jilani, Central President of the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal (Volunteer Wing of BNP), a harmony rally was held in Tungipara upazila of Gopalganj, organized by the upazila and municipal units of the BNP.
In his speech as the chief guest, SM Jilani said,
“To restore democracy and safeguard the future of the nation, vote for the Sheaf of Paddy in the upcoming national election. Under the leadership of Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman, the BNP will establish a people’s government.”
Special guests included Advocate Kazi Abul Khair, Acting Member Secretary of Gopalganj District BNP; Sheikh Salauddin Ahmed, President of Tungipara Upazila BNP; Moniruzzaman Bablu, General Secretary of Tungipara Upazila BNP; Emdad Hossain Molla, President of Tungipara Municipal BNP; and Sheikh Jihadul Islam (Babu), General Secretary of Tungipara Municipal BNP.
Speakers at the event said that the current government has taken away the fundamental rights of the people, and now is the time to restore democracy through a united movement.
Grassroots leaders and activists expressed great enthusiasm during the rally.
At the end of the event, party leaders gave organizational directives to strengthen the party ahead of the upcoming election.
