An allegation has been raised of the rape of an 8-year-old madrasa student girl, lured with ten taka.
On Thursday afternoon, in Manigaon village of Uttar Baradal Union in Tahirpur, Sunamganj, a 16-year-old boy from the same village, a neighbor, raped the girl.
In this incident, the victim’s father filed a case at Tahirpur Police Station, accusing the boy of rape.
On Thursday night, the police arrested the accused boy in connection with the case.
Tahirpur Police Station’s OC (Investigation) Sushankar Pal confirmed this information.
According to the case details, a delinquent boy from Manigaon village lured the 8-year-old madrasa student, a daughter of a poor laborer from the same village, with ten taka and took her to his residence, where he forcibly raped her.
Hearing her screams, neighbors rescued the girl. Subsequently, through her family, the victim was admitted to the Sunamganj District Hospital (One-Stop Crisis Center) for treatment on Thursday evening.
