A day-long Cub Carnival was held in Baraigram of Natore. Bangladesh Scout, Baraigram Upazila Branch organized it. UNO and Scout President Laila Jannatul Ferdous inaugurated the program at the Upazila Parishad premises on Monday morning .
The UNO was present as the chief guest in the program and Upazila Scout Secretary Md. Humayun Kabir conducted it. The Upazila Primary Education Officer SM Mizanur Rahman, Upazila Assistant Primary Education Officer Md. Shawkat Alam Ratan, Sonali Khanam, Tamanna Alam spoke as special guests emphasizing the importance of Scouting, its goals, objectives, social responsibility, health awareness, modest behavior, religious values etc.
Among others, Upazila Cub Leader Md. Ruhul Amin, Joint Secretary Mosharraf Hossain, Associate Commissioner Md. Alfur Rahman, Md. Selim Hossain, Sharmin Sultana Priya, Head Teacher Md. Azahar Ali, Shafiul Alam, Kamal Hossain, Saiful Islam and others spoke there. 180 Cub members from 30 primary schools of the upazila participated in the program.
