A discussion meeting and Islamic cultural program on the honor, dignity and life style of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) were held at the Tarighat Bazar Eidgah ground in Nandail upazila of Mymensingh on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH).

The program, held at 2 pm on Wednesday included Quran recitation, Naat and Hamd competitions, discussions by Ulama-e-Karam, prize distribution among the winners and a prayer mahfil.

Md. Mazharul Islam Rajan Bhuiyan presided over the program. He holds BSS (Hons), Masters (Social Work), Fazil (B.A.) and Kamil (M.A.) degrees.

The speakers at the event highlighted various aspects of the holy life, honor, dignity and ideals of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). They said that everyone should come forward to establish justice, peace, humanity and welfare in their personal lives, society and state by following the ideals of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

The discussion quoted a hadith and said that PBUH said, “None of you will truly believe until I am more beloved to him than his parents, wife, children and everything else.” (Bukhari Sharif)

A Quran recitation, naat and hamd competition was held. In the second part, the Ulama discussed the biography, honor and dignity of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Later, prizes were distributed among the winners of the competition and a special prayer was held for the peace and welfare of the country, nation and Muslim Ummah.

The event was organized by local organizers and volunteers including Babul, Sujan Bhuiyan, Kamal, Liku Bhuiyan, Khalil Bhuiyan, Jasim, Sohel, Mithu Bhuiyan, Asad Bhuiyan, Nadim, Munna.
