Drug dealer arrested with 10.5-kg of ganja in Pirgachha

A drug dealer has been arrested with 10 *kg 500 grams of ganja in a joint operation by the police and the army in Pirgachha, Rangpur.
The accused drug dealer was arrested from the Tajtaluk area of Chhawla Union of the upazila in a joint operation late on Tuesday.
The arrested person is Shri Krishna Chandra Ravidas (37), son of the deceased Bularam Ravidas of Tajtaluk area of Chhawla. Officer-in-charge of Pirgachha Police Station Noor Alam Siddiqui said that the accused was arrested with 10 kg 500 grams of ganja in a joint operation late on Tuesday based on secret information.
A case under the Narcotics Control Act was filed against the arrested person and sent to court on Wednesday morning, March 12.
