Four arrested with Phensedyl in Munshiganj

Four individuals have been arrested by the District Detective Branch (DB) police with six bottles of Phensedyl from the Folpotti area of Munshiganj Municipality.
The arrest was made based on a tip-off around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday night from the Khalist area of the city.
The arrestees have been identified as Md. Manik Sheikh (32), son of late Abul Hossain of Tongibari Upazila
Md. Amir Hossain (41), son of late Mozammel Sarkar of Sararpur area, Panchashar Union, Sadar Upazila
Md. Akbar Ali (42), son of late Esahak Bepari of Paikpara area, Tongibari
Md. Ripon Mia (48), son of late Tara Mia of Nayagaon Purbo Para area, Sadar Upazila
Additional Superintendent of Police (Finance & Administration) Muhammad Kazi Humayun Rashid confirmed the information through a press release.
He stated that preparations are underway to file a case and lodge an official complaint against the accused at Munshiganj Sadar Police Station.
