Inter-university water polo competition : Dhaka University becomes champion

Dhaka University emerged as the champion in the boys' team category of the inter-university water polo competition. In addition, Dhaka University came in second in the boys' team category and third in the girls' team category in swimming.
It is worth mentioning that the 2-day inter-university swimming and water polo (student-female) competition started at the Dhaka University swimming pool on Friday, with the slogan 'Friendship in the University Sports Grounds' in front. State Minister for Youth and Sports Md. Aminul Haque was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony and Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr. Abdus Salam was present as the special guest.
After the game, Dhaka South City Corporation Administrator Md. Abdus Salam was present as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners. The prize distribution ceremony was presided over by Dhaka University Swimming and Water Polo Committee President Professor Kazi Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman. National University Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Md. Lutfar Rahman, Physical Education Center Advisor Prof Dr. SM Mostafa Al Mamun, Physical Education Center Acting Director SM Zakaria, along with teachers, students and officials were present.
