UMT President meets DU VC Dr Obaidul Islam

The President of the University of Management and Technology (UMT) of Pakistan, Mr. Ibrahim Hassan Murad, met with the Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University, Professor Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam, at his office on Tuesday.
At that time, the Director of the Internationalization and Outreach Office of the same university, Mr. Muttaqi Arman Malik, was with him.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest, especially the possibility of undertaking joint collaborative education and research activities in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), robotics and engineering between Dhaka University and Pakistan's University of Management and Technology. The meeting also discussed the exchange of teachers, students and researchers between the two universities.
UMT President Mr. Ibrahim Hassan Murad expressed interest in providing scholarships and fellowships to Dhaka University students to pursue higher education at the University of Management and Technology.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam thanked the guests for coming to Dhaka University and expressing deep interest in its education and research activities.
