Krishak Dal forms human chain in Pirojpur demanding end to bribery at Sub-Registrar Office

The Pirojpur District Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal staged a human chain to protest against allegations of bribery demands during land registration at the Pirojpur District Sub-Registrar Office and to call for an end to corruption.
The human chain was held on Sunday morning in front of the Shahid Minar in the town.
Chaired by Pirojpur District Krishak Dal President Nasir Ahmed Bacchu and moderated by former Acting President of the District Student Organization Khairul Islam Babu, the event featured speeches by Barishal Divisional Organizing Secretary of the Krishsk Dal Aktar Lion Hossain Sentu, Assistant Organizing Secretary Md. Mohsin, Joint Convener of Pirojpur Municipal BNP Akhtaruzzaman Masum, General Secretary of the District Krishak Dal Habib Khan, Acting General Secretary of the District Student Organization Tanjit Rashid Bappi, Organizational Secretary of the Farmers’ Organization Mizan Sheikh, and President of Sadar Upazila Krishsk Dal Atikur Rahman Parvez.
The speakers stated that bribery in critical processes like land registration is increasing public suffering. Despite being an important government office, no work is done at the Sub-Registrar Office without bribes. They demanded an immediate end to this bribery trade to alleviate the hardships faced by the public. The speakers further declared that their protests against bribery and corruption will continue, and if necessary, larger programs will be announced in the future.
