Land Fair inaugurated in Adamdighi

A three-day land fair has been organized in Adamdighi Upazila of Bogura, as part of nationwide initiatives to deliver people-friendly land services to the doorstep of the general public on Sunday.
The Fair was inaugurated at 10:30 AM at the Upazila Parishad premises. At 11:00 AM, a colorful rally started from the premises and proceeded through the main streets of the upazila town. Following the rally, a discussion meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad meeting room, chaired by Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mahmuda Sultana.
The meeting featured public awareness speeches by Upazila Sub-Registrar Mudassir Hasan, Upazila Land Office Kanungo Sunil Chandra Sarker, Agriculture Officer and Agriculturist Mithu Chandra Adhikari, Upazila Fisheries Officer Nahid Hossain, Public Health Officer Sultan Mahmud, Officer-in-Charge of the Police Station Mostafizur Rahman, General Secretary of Upazila BNP Abu Hasan, Secretary of Upazila Jamaat Golam Rabbani, Chairman of Nashratpur Union Golam Mostafa, Acting Chairman of Chhatian Gram Union Mahi Uddin Talukder, Panel Chairman of Santahar Union Nazim Uddin, Panel Chairman of Kundgram Union Moslem Uddin, and Principal of Santahar Bir Bikram Shaheed Ahsanul Haque Degree College Babul Hossain.
Government and non-government officials and employees from various departments of the upazila, along with people from different professions and the general public, were present. The discussion meeting concluded with a quiz competition on land-related topics.
