Newly- elected chairman of Kishoreganj Upazila Parishad Rashid takes charge

In the second phase of the 6th Upazila Parishad election, the newly -elected Chairman Rashidul Islam (Rashid Contractor) successfully spent his first working day for the first time after being elected by public vote in Nilphamari Kishoreganj Upazila.
On Sunday (June 9) at the office of Kishoreganj Upazila Parishad, he officially sat in the chair of the Upazila Parishad on his first working day.
Kishoreganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer MM Ashik Reza along with different levels of upazila were present. At the beginning of the first working day of the newly elected Chairman of the Upazila Parishad, Rashidul Islam (Rashid Contractor), a large number of leaders and workers and well-wishers were seen and everyone welcomed the new chairman with warm wishes. Later, the new chairman held the first meeting of the Upazila Parishad.
Meanwhile, on the same day, newly elected Vice Chairman of Kishoreganj Upazila Parishad Mahububur Rahman Badsha and Female Vice Chairman Swapna Shanta successfully spent their first day in their respective offices.
Last Thursday (June 6) at 10:00 a.m., the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected chairman, vice chairman and female vice chairmen was held at the Rangpur District Art Academy Auditorium organized by the Rangpur Divisional Commissioner's office.
It should be noted that Kishoreganj Upazila Parishad election was held in the second phase of the Sixth Upazila Parishad election on May 21st.
