Organic fertilizer production training for youths in Khulna

The ProGRESS Project of ILO Dhaka working for Environment friendly Green Skill Entrepreneurship Development through work-based apprenticeship organised a training program for organic fertilizer (Trico-Compost) production in Dumuria, Batiaghata and Dacope upazilas in Khulna recently.
A total of 60 youth age from 18-35 years has been enrolled for six months training program. The government department ISISC supporting to ensure training for decent work to develop skilled entrepreneurs and manpower through its Work-Based Apprenticeship Training programme.
A local institution Build Better Ltd supporting to implement the training program with the technical guidance and support by the Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) Dumuria, Khulna and Rural Development Academy, Bogura.
In the inauguration the CEO from ISISC Md. Abdul Aziz Munshi, Program Officer Tanjel Ahsan from ILO Dhaka, on behalf of Upazila Agriculture Office Md. Hamidul Islam were presents along with local and national media representatives dated on 21 August 2025.
