Panel chairman in charge of UP in Kapasia

Due to the absence of chairmen in the Union Parishad of Kapasia Upazila of Gazipur, the panel chairmen have been given the responsibility to keep the Union Parishad functioning and continue public service with financial and administrative powers.
This was informed in an office order signed by Hasibur Rahman, Assistant Director of the Local Government Branch of the Deputy Commissioner's office on Sunday.
According to the office order, the Union Parishad's financial and administrative powers have been assigned to the respective panel chairman of the Union Parishad. The incumbent panel chairmen are Kamal Hossain in Kapasia Barishab Union Parishad, Qayyum Molla in Durgapur Union Parishad, Lutfar Rahman in Karihata Union Parishad and Shafiqul Islam in Sanmania Union Parishad.
Assistant Director Hasibur Rahman said that when the chairman is absent, the administrative officers of the respective union councils have been given responsibility based on the list of the attendance panel chairmen.
