People of this country know how to achieve their rights through street protests, struggles : Dr. Zahid

Minister of Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain said, the people of Bangladesh know how to achieve their rights through movement and struggle on the streets. They know how to protect their rights. The address of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party is not in any other country but among the people of this country. BNP has full confidence in the people. Therefore, BNP will confront any conspiracy against the country along with the people.
He made these remarks while addressing the chief guest at a protest rally against attempts to destabilize the country through planned terrorism organized by the Dinajpur District BNP on Saturday afternoon.
Addressing the autocrats, the minister said, "Don't think that those who shot and killed the people of Bengal like birds will not be judged. Those who looted the country and laundered mountains of money abroad to build mansions will not be judged. Every injustice will be judged on the soil of Bengal, God willing. There is no compromise with autocrats."
Dr. Zahid said, the soldiers of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman and late national leader Begum Khaleda Zia are united under the leadership of Tarique Rahman. In any struggle for the interest of the country, the people of Dinajpur are ready to fulfill their due responsibility in the continuity of the past.
He said, the people of this country have been struggling for democracy for a long time. Through the national elections on February 12, the people of this country have given the responsibility of serving the country to their preferred party. After the dictatorship fled, they have given the responsibility of touring the country to rebuild the fragile economy in the country to the Bangladesh Nationalist Party led by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. But we saw that within a few days, the fled dictatorship and its allies are trying to raise their heads again. Some parties are doing politics of conspiracy.
He also said, "There are many movements on social media, many people are trying to say many things. Let's go to the streets, let's meet on the streets. The people of Bangladesh know how to go to the streets to achieve their rights."
State Minister for Cultural Affairs Ali Newaz Mahmud Khayyam was present as the main speaker at the protest rally moderated by District BNP General Secretary Baktiar Ahmed Kochi, chaired by Dinajpur District BNP President Mofazzal Hossain Dulal . Rangpur Divisional BNP Deputy Organizing Secretary Abdul Khalek was present as the special guest.
Dinajpur District BNP Senior Vice President Mokarram Hossain, Vice Presidents Khalequzzaman Babu, Akhtaruzzaman Jewel, Publicity Secretary Babu Chowdhury, District BNP Deputy Organizing Secretary Nazmul Islam Joni, District Jubo Dal Convener Masudur Rahman Masud, Member Secretary Rezaur Rahman Reza, District Mohila Dal General Secretary Shahin Sultana Beauty and others were present at the time.
Before the rally, a protest march started from Jail Road in Dinajpur city. The procession marched through the main roads of the city.
