
President of Munshiganj-Bikrampur Dist Implementation Council journalist Mizanur Rahman Khan dies

President of the Munshiganj-Bikrampur District Implementation Council and eminent journalist Lion M.R. Khan Mizan (Mizanur Rahman Khan) has passed away (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un).
He breathed his last on Thursday at 1:50 pm at his own residence in Sipahi Bagh, Khilgaon, Dhaka. He had been suffering from various illnesses for a long time. At the time of his death, he was 63 years old.
He was the third son of late Jalal Uddin Khan of Uttar Medinimandal village in Louhajong upazila of Munshiganj. Lion Mizan was the President of North Point Education School and College, the founding General Secretary of Jalal Uddin Khan Memorial Foundation, the General Secretary of Nirapad Sarak Chai Louhajong Upazila branch, and a lifetime donor member of Medinimandal Anwar Chowdhury High School.
He had also worked as a journalist at the Daily Janakantha. Besides, he was actively involved in various social and organizational activities. At the time of his death, he left behind two sons, relatives, and numerous admirers.
