Press conference in protest of published news in Koyra

Md. Saifullah Gazi, son of the late Nawab Ali Gazi of Hadda (Phultala) village in Koyra police station held a press conference in protest of the news . He raised such allegations through a press conference at 11 am on Thursday.
In his written statement at the press conference, he said that I earn a living with my family by catching fish and crabs in the Sundarbans legally with a pass permit. I have no previous lawsuits against me. But on 04/05/2025, the news published in the Daily Alokito Bangladesh newspaper with the false statement “The violence of deer hunters is increasing in the Sundarbans” is absurd, false, fabricated and untrue. I condemn the false, fabricated and purposefully published news against me.
He further said in the press conference that many people in the area were jealous of me and wanted to defame me and bring me into disrepute in society because I hunt fish and collect crabs legally. Several representatives of the daily Alokito Bangladesh published a false and fabricated news against me and it was printed on page 8 of the newspaper on 04/05/2025.
Due to a minor dispute in the area, some unscrupulous journalists published news by sending false information to the media to tarnish my image. That news was published with complete intention to bring me into disrepute in society. I strongly condemn and protest against the publication of false and fabricated and exaggerated news about me. I have humbly requested my journalist brothers not to be influenced by some unscrupulous journalists and to present true and objective news. I never hunt deer and there is no question of selling deer meat. I am a simple person, I eat every day. I want to live well with my family.
In protest against this news, he further said, "I hope that the Daily Alokito Bangladesh is a reputable newspaper, so it will be more careful in presenting news in the future. I want justice."
