Rally in Palashbari Sanka Bridge area demanding EPZ

A protest rally was held in front of Ganasas Market on Friday at the initiative of the Gaibandha Sakwa Bridge EPZ Implementation Committee demanding the setting up of EPZ in the Sanka Bridge area of Gaibandha-Palashbari road.

Mohammad Ali Pramanik, Ravidash Forum President Sunil Ravidas, Ravidas Forum General Secretary Khilon Ravidas, Lawyer Assistant Abdul Hai, Social worker Monir Hossain Sweet, Sadekul Islam, Jihad chief, human rights activist Kazi Abdul Khalek, Kazi Abdul Khalek and Kazi Abdul spoke.
The speakers said that Gaibandha today is a 'pocket city' that has been scattered from development, where there is no industrial factor, no employment, no use of possibilities. But next to these towns, if EPZ is established in the Sanka Bridge area, the whole northern image will change.
They said the former Deputy Commissioner of Gaibandha said. Kazi Anwarul Haque sent the recommendation for the formation of the EPZ, which the Gaibandhas sincerely supported. But sadly some self -styled palaces conspired by conspiring to reject the proposal and trying to set up EPZs in a disputed area like the indigenous Santal Palli, which has already been rejected in the face of human and well -mannered people.
The speakers also said that the EPZ Hall in the Sanka area has easy communication railways, highways, waterways, and even helipad.
