 Three distributors of the Food Friendly Program distributed rice under the Food Friendly Program allegedly violating government rules   in Rajarhat Upazila of Kurigram.

Distributor Habibur Rahman at Ratigram Point in Bidyananda Union of the upazila, distributor Nur Alam Siddiqui at Dangrahat, and distributor Mahubur Rahman at Sukdev Point distributed rice to beneficiaries registered under the Food Friendly Program until Thursday afternoon, contrary to government orders.

Sensing the presence of journalists investigating the illegal distribution, they quickly closed the distribution room and fled. While fleeing, distributor Nur Alam Siddiqui of Dangrahat was seen, but he refused to comment.

Locals alleged that the distribution was done in violation of the rules with the aim of making extra profit by giving low-quality rice and less weight.

Habibur Rahman, the distributor of the food friendly program in Ratigram Bazar, confirmed the authenticity of the distribution and said that we distributed rice to some people who were entered by the tag officer yesterday. When asked about signing and sealing the beneficiary's card on today's date? He said that there may be a mistake in the date or calendar.

Tag officer Abu Taher, in charge of this matter, said, "There was no government instruction to distribute rice today. Legal action will be taken against those who violated the rules."

TCF Mocha: Masuda Begum, in charge of Rajarhat Upazila, said, there was no distribution on Thursday, it was distributed towards the end of last month's budget, and today's distribution is in line with that. When asked what action will be taken if there is distribution outside the rules and irregularities and corruption? She said, "I will seek explanation  to the distributor."
