Various allegations against him : How Nuruzzaman Mahuri becomes wealthy man in Porsha

How did Nuruzzaman Mahuri, son of the deceased Nazir Uddin of Porsha Barinda village of Naogaon, suddenly become a wealthy man?
This is a common question from the people of the area. He had nothing even a few years ago but now he allegedly owns huge property.
He has not received anything from his family either. There is also a rumor that he has gained fame by using his influence to grab the post of Joint General Secretary of the Upazila Jubo League during the Awami League regime.
Nuruzzaman Khan, who comes from a low-income family, changed his name due to his wealth.
In addition, he has been working as a document writer at the Upazila Sub-Registry Office and a lecturer at Manda Technical and Agricultural College by using his influence.
The villagers said that he is currently a fugitive from his family. His uncle Abdur Razzak said that they used to live in the same family. They also built his house. But he said that he could not tell about his land.
Bakul of the same village said that he had nothing before. Currently, he is the owner of a lot of wealth and owns about 20 bighas of land. Bakul said that he has deeded the land of various innocent people by deceiving them using the influence of 'Mahuri ' and the party.
A victim, Ashaduzzaman Shah Sumon of Somnagar village alleged that his elder brother Akhter Shah is a mentally unstable person. Nuruzzaman secretly wrote down 7 bighas of land in the name of his minor daughter Maisha Jannat by showing him various temptations.
A case was filed against Nuruzzaman in 2024 in Naogaon Senior Assistant Judge Court in this regard. Sumon also said that Nuruzzaman is a land grabber. There are allegations against him of occupying the land of more than one person.
He also alleged that he has occupied about half a crore of land at Saraigachi intersection.
In this regard, Upazila Deed Writers Association President Sultan Ahmed said, Nuruzzaman has been suspended from the Deed Writers Association due to various allegations of land grabbing.
