Workshop on 'Modern Drug Discovery and Development from Molecular Perspective’ held at DIU
A workshop on ‘Modern Drug Discovery and Development from a Molecular Perspective’ was held at Dhaka International University (DIU) in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology recently.
The keynote speaker of the workshop was Dr. Atta-ya-tul-Wahab, a renowned scientist from the University of Karachi and an OIC COMSTECH Scholar. The event featured speeches from the Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Zahidul Islam, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Barrister Shamim Haider Patwary. The welcome speech was delivered by the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Hafizur Rahman. The session was conducted by Associate Professor Dr. Tania Mannan from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Through this workshop, the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Dhaka International University reiterated its commitment to achieving international standards in terms of quality.
