1st meeting of Faridpur Gen Hospital management committee held

The first meeting of the Faridpur General Hospital Management Committee was held on Thursday morning at the hospital's conference room.
Chowdhury Nayab Yusuf, MP.for the Faridpur-3 constituency, presided over the meeting.
Attendees included Civil Surgeon Dr. Mahmudul Hasan, Additional District Magistrate (General) Md. Sohrab Hossain, Additional Police Superintendent Fatema Islam, Family Planning Department Deputy Director Kazi Faruk Ahmed, Health Services Department Deputy Director ASM Anisur Rahman, and Social Services Department Deputy Director Md. Ehiyatuzzaman.
Local political and organizational figures—including district BNP Member Secretary AKM Kibria Swapan, Joint Convener Tanvir Chowdhury Rubel, Metropolitan Jubo Dal President Benzir Ahmed Tabriz, and General Secretary Ali Rezwan Biswas Tarun—along with hospital physicians, nurses, and community dignitaries, were also present.
Discussions centered on upgrading the hospital from 100 to 250 beds, improving medical service standards, ensuring modern and quality healthcare for patients, boosting the efficiency of medical staff, and enhancing infrastructure, cleanliness, medicine supplies, and emergency department operations.
