
3-day program inaugurated at Rabindranath Tagore Memorial Museum in Rupsha

On the occasion of the 164th birth anniversary of world poet Rabindranath Tagore, the Khulna District Administration and Rupsha Upazila Administration inaugurated a three-day program at the Rabindranath Tagore Memorial Museum at the residence of Rabindranath Tagore's ancestors in Pithabhog village of Ghatbhog Union 8 at 4:30 pm on Thursday.
Speaking as the chief guest at the program, Khulna Additional Divisional Commissioner Hussain Shawkat (General) said that Rabindranath's touch is present in every level of literature. Bengali literature cannot be imagined without Rabindranath. Starting from short stories to his writings on the elderly, his works are appreciated in the world. For this reason, he has received the title of Kabiguru. His writings for the downtrodden people of the society were timely and timely for the time being. In addition, he is proud of the world as a Nobel Prize winner.
The main speaker at the event on Rabindranath and Bangladesh was Professor Dr. Md. Anis-R-Reza, Director of the Secondary and Higher Education Department of Khulna Region.
Rupsha Upazila Executive Officer Akash Kumar Kundu presided over the welcome speech, while Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Apratim Kumar Chakraborty delivered the welcome speech.
