
Coast Guard organised Youth Festival on environment, forest conservation, wild life protection in Ctg

Bangladesh Coast Guard has conducted “Youth Festival-2025 on environmental and forest conservation, wildlife protection training workshop and public awareness programme in Chattogram
Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq, Media Officer of the Coast Guard gave this information in a press release on Thursday noon.
The press release stated that since its inception, the Bangladesh Coast Guard has been conducting various disaster relief operations, distributing aid, providing emergency medical services, and rehabilitating affected communities in coastal and riverine areas. Alongside these efforts, the Coast Guard has been actively engaged in awareness programs for environmental and forest conservation and wildlife protection.
As part of this ongoing initiative, on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the Coast Guard Outpost Patenga organized a training workshop and public awareness program titled “Youth Festival-2025” on environmental and forest conservation and wildlife protection at the Bangladesh Navy Anchorage School and College in Chattogram. The workshop was attended by representatives from the Chattogram Forest Department, as well as teachers and students from the school and college.
The Coast Guard will continue such public awareness programs in the future to promote environmental and forest conservation, the press release added.
