Discussion meeting on 13th anniv of BMSF in Betagi

A discussion meeting, cake cutting and joyous celebration were held in Betagi, Barguna to mark the 13th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Mofusal Journalists Forum (BMSF) on Tuesday.
Betagi UNO Md. Bashir Gazi was the chief guest, while the event was moderated by Md. Forkan Hossain Imrat, Member Secretary of Betagi Upazila Mofussal Journalist Forum, and presided over by Md. Shahadat Hossain Munna, President of Betagi Upazila Mofussal Journalist Forum.
Abdus Salam Siddiqui, Editor of the Weekly Bishkhali, Municipal BNP Member Secretary Md. Mizanur Rahman Khan, President of Betagi Journalists Union and Correspondent of Amardesh Md. Mizanur Rahman W, President of Betagi Reporters Unity Mehedi Hasan Koel Sikder, Kaler Kontho Correspondent Kamal Khan, Managing Editor of Dainik Sangbad Bangladesh Md. Arifur Rahman (Sujon), vice-president of Betagi Upazila Mofussal Journalists Forum Md. Hasan, central member of Bangladesh Mofusal Journalists Forum Jamal Khan, Amar Sangbad correspondent Md. Sujon, Rupali Bangladesh correspondent Jasim Uddin, Matribhumi Correspondent Siddiqur Rahman Rijon and member Ripon and student representative Imran Hossain, along with journalists working in various media outlets in Betagi Upazila.
Speakers at the meeting emphasized the importance of accurate and impartial journalism and expressed hope that BMSF would play an important role in the development of the journalistic community.
