Doa Mahfil held in memory of journalist Saidur Rahman
A memorial meeting and Doa Mahfil were held in Rajshahi in memory of the recently deceased president of the traditional Rajshahi Press Club and respected journalist Saidur Rahman.
The prayer mahfil and memorial service was held at the Press Club premises on Friday after Asr prayers organized by the Rajshahi Press Club.
The memorial service, chaired by Rajshahi Press Club Acting President Abdus Sabur and moderated by General Secretary Golam Mostafa Mamun, was attended by Rajshahi City Police Media Spokesperson Deputy Police Commissioner Gaziur Rahman, veteran journalist Mostafizur Rahman Khan Alam, Daily Sonali Sangbad Editor Liaqat Ali, Rajshahir Alo Editor Ajibar Rahman, Rajshahi Press Club General Secretary Golam Mostafa Mamun, former General Secretary Aslam Ud Daula, former GS of Rajshahi College Kafiullah Sarkar Bachchu, Janneta Ataur Rahman Smriti Parishad General Secretary Salahuddin Mintu, Janneta Ataur Rahman Trust General Secretary Masud Rana Sarkar, senior journalist Anisuzzaman Anis, journalist Waliur Rahman Babu, Abdul Mugni Niro, and others.
The prayer and remembrance ceremony was held in remembrance of the late Saidur Rahman and prayed for his eternal peace.
