Integrated discussion meeting held in Barguna to prevent dengue outbreak

An integrated discussion meeting involving government and non-government organizations, news media, and local community representatives was held in Barguna to enhance public awareness and strengthen preventive measures against dengue.
Organized by the District Information Office with support from UNICEF, the meeting took place at the "Subornojoyanti" conference room of the Barguna Deputy Commissioner's Office on Wednesday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General and Education) Animesh Biswas attended the event as the chief guest, while District Information Officer Selim Mahmud delivered the welcome address. Civil Surgeon Abul Fattah, Barguna Press Club President Md. Hafizur Rahman, and UNICEF Barishal and Khulna Division Representative Md. Abdul Jalil addressed the meeting as special guests.
Speakers at the meeting expressed deep concern over public health due to the rising number of dengue cases across Barguna in September.
